Privacy
This notice explains how Lily's Nursery and Day Care collects, uses and protects personal information about parents, carers and children, and your rights under UK data protection law (UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018). Last updated: 30 June 2026.
Lily's Nursery and Day Care (“we”, “us”) is the data controller for the personal information described here. We are an Ofsted-registered early years setting at 3 North Star Boulevard, Greenhithe, Kent, DA9 9UG. Our website and secure parent portal are operated on our behalf by our technology provider under a written data-processing agreement.
We treat children's personal data with particular care. We only collect what is needed to provide safe, high-quality care and to meet our legal and safeguarding duties, and we limit who can access it.
We do not sell your information. We share it only with service providers who help us run the nursery and website — including secure hosting, email delivery, authentication, payment processing and our learning-journal provider — each acting under contract and only as instructed. We may also share information where we are legally required to (for example, safeguarding or Ofsted).
We keep enquiry and visit information only as long as needed to respond and for our legitimate administrative purposes. Records relating to a child's care are retained in line with statutory early years and safeguarding requirements, then securely deleted.
You have the right to access your information; to ask us to correct or delete it; to restrict or object to processing; to data portability; and to withdraw consent at any time (this does not affect processing already carried out). To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below.
We use only the essential cookies needed to keep you signed in and the service secure. We do not use advertising cookies.
For any privacy question or to make a request, please contact Lily's Nursery and Day Care using the contact details on our website.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
